Difference between lipectomy and liposuction

Difference between lipectomy and liposuction

"Aesthetic plastic surgeries can be combined, only if patient is in optimal health conditions to obtain the expected results. One of the most common combinations is the Tummy Tuck and liposuction, which are not surgical treatments to combat obesity, these surgeries are indicate for correcting areas of the body that have accumulated fat or excess of skin.

this Combination helps to shape the body figure, combating flaccidity and generating harmony and aesthetics to the body.

The tummy tuck, also known as Abdominoplasty, emphasizes fat stored in the abdomen, excess skin is removed, it removes the sagging abdomen and in some cases, repair of abdominal wall muscle to generate fastness.

While the liposuction process is based on removing accumulated fat through cannulas that generate suction, removing fat to reshape the body, to create a new body contour.

Is for this reason that the lipectomy focuses on the abdomen and liposuction or liposculpture makes it all over the body or in specific areas, according to each case."
