He completed his studies, as a surgical MD, at the University: Univercidad Libre Seccional de Cali. After that he completed his Post Graduate degree where specialized in General Surgery at: Instituto de Postgraduacion Carlos Chaga as well as the Federal Fluminense University, both located in Rio del Jainero, Brazil.
