For no one is a secret that one of the main concerns of patients is about the risk of one of the breast prosthesis present a break. Not always that one of these implants is broken is by carelessness. An accident may occur. A bad blow or a sudden movement can cause them to break.
That is why it is necessary that people who have undergone an implant procedure are aware of certain symptoms and, in case of any of these signs, it’s important to see a doctor immediately.
-Inflammation in the bust area
-Deformations in the prosthesis
-Change size
-Burning sensation in the affected area
-Intense pain
-Numbness sensation
-Considerable increase in temperature in the bust
I remind you that, sometimes, these types of accidents do not present symptoms, so it’s necessary for patients to perform preventive medical check-ups, at least once a year. Through these checkups you can determine if a mammogram or other similar procedure is needed to know the condition of the prostheses.
