Postoperative depression

In the recovery process after a surgical procedure aesthetic, many patients feel tired and without energy. This emotional state is known as the "post-operative depression".

This depression appears as a result of anesthesia received during the surgery, which tends to alter the nervous system. The negative comments, the delay in the healing or some minor complication may result in the patient a "post-operative depression".

What I tell my patients that are going through this stage, is that they are in a process of recovery and that it is normal to feel with the low mood. I advise them to be surrounded by family and friends, follow my medical recommendations as, do activities not complainants physically but fun, go to outdoor walks and sleep ranges of eight hours a day. On behalf of my specialized equipment, will always be a positive experience with the best expected results.
